Yang Du :

In the last of my little New Gen push, I give you Yang Du. Her designs are completely wacky, and way off my usual taste. But I think that the way the collection is styled makes the shoot work beautifully and has sold her to me. I'm also loving the crazy coloured hair, again. Maybe this is a sign...

J W Anderson :

More New Gen, how I love the whole of J W Anderson's collection. I was lucky enough to see his menswear show at London Fashion Week in February, and I just adore the entire of his women's AW10 collection... I could wear all of it.

Fannie Schiavoni :

How much do I love the mint dip dyed hair in this shoot for Fannie Schiavoni's AW10 collection. The clothes aren't half beautiful, too. She definitely deserves her New Gen sponsorship.

Kell On Earth :

(And yup, that is my own photo!)

Last September, I must admit my year got pretty crazy. I went to Fashion Week, which is something I've been dreaming of since I can't remember when.. and I got to meet some fabulous (understatement) people along the way. One of them being PR genius and Lauren Conrad's famous boss, Kelly Cutrone.

I'm not going to lie, I've never been so scared about approaching someone for an interview - this was fashion week (which, by the way, she was doing the entire PR for), and The Hills had made her renowned for being quite, well, honest - however she couldn't have been any nicer.

While I was interviewing her, we spoke of the Bravo series they were filming her for (Kell On Earth, geddit? I'm not sure when it'll be aired over here), she also told me about the book she had coming out, and eek, I am excited, I pre-ordered my copy last night!

In true Kelly style, 'If You Have To Cry, Go Outside... And Other Things Your Mother Never Told You' is promised to be as sharp, witty and blunt as the PR guru herself. I can't wait for my copy to arrive come February 2nd.

Elle Collector's Editions

London Fashion Week celebrates its 25th birthday this year, so to honour the occasion, Elle UK has collaborated with designers Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, Christopher Kane and John Galliano to produce special Elle designer covers. I particularly love Galliano's Brit inspired cover, and Stella's Valentines-esque RND design (shown below), all available to download from http://elleuk.com/subscribenow . The limited editions of Elle with these covers will also be available to buy at London Fashion Weekend. I'll just have to have a few copies then!
